We are so fortunate to have people who care at APS. Thank you, officer Melton, for educating our 6th-12th graders on bullying, different Ok laws, vaping and other things. We appreciate officer Melton and all students who were attentive during the assembly.
7th hour Spanish class enjoyed a fiesta, consisting of their favorite Mexican dishes!
JH plays today, Dec. 19th, at 4:00 pm. Homecoming festivities will be at 6:00 pm and the girls game will follow. Come and support our Longhorns.
The elementary library staff enjoyed having 5th graders who met their AR goals this semester. They played bingo, drank hot chocolate, and shared their Christmas research with us! Bingo winners were Sabrina Clemmons, Rylan Reynolds, Jarrett Shi, & Kate McLemore.
Third graders enjoyed their AR reading reward today in the library. Hot chocolate, cookies, & bingo for the win! Bingo champs were Kaylynn Simmons & Kinsley Hufferd.

Don't forget that Friday, December 20th is an early release day for Students and Staff. Elementary car line can begin at 2:10 and MS/HS will be released at 2:20. Students will return on Tuesday, January 7th.
The suspect in the high-speed chase has been apprehended. Dismissal will begin now.
Due to a high-speed chase north of Alex, the school will delay all students' dismissal on 12/16/2024. This will include the car line, students who walk home, and buses. We will update you on new times for dismissal as the situation develops.
