With the possibility of inclement weather on the horizon, APS would like to remind our families on how we will communicate a school closure. We will utilize our text messaging/call out system, school Facebook page, notifications on the school app, live feed on the school webpage, as well as local news stations (Channels 4, 5, 9, 25 & NewsOK.com). If you are not receiving text messages, it is possible the number on file is incorrect or the number has opted out of receiving text messages.  A text message went out mid-day on Thursday, January 11th to parents & guardians of APS students. If you did not receive a message from 98900 there may be an issue with your number. To re-engage text messages, text start to 98900 or email Amy Loggins at [email protected] to ensure the correct information is on file. To receive notifications on the app, be sure you have downloaded the Alex Public School App from the app store and have notifications switched to on through the app and your phone settings.  You can also access links to the school app at the bottom of the school webpage at www.alex.k12.ok.us.  The safety of our students and staff is our first priority.  We are looking forward to a great second semester at APS.
