This week and next week, we will have a table set up during power 20 for students to purchase tickets for the winter formal. The cost is $10 for 6th-12th graders. If any 9th-12th grader is taking an outside guest then they will have to be approved by sending school, but they will have to buy a ticket as well. The Junior Class After Prom Committee is excited about hosting this event.

5th grade - High School Girls Basketball Parent Meeting will be in the High School gym on Tuesday, October 8th at 5:30 pm.

Jemma Schoolfield won the candy guessing in the High School Library. Students had the chance to enter when they check out a book.

We started this month in Elementary Library. When you check out a book you get a chance to guess the correct amount of candy in the jar. And at end of the month we draw out the winner. Our winner for this month is Sergio Rios. Congratulations Sergio


Our very own students selling their artwork at the Rock Island Art Festival.


Today, Alex FFA members competed at the Tulsa State Fair Commercial Cattle Grading Contest. They continue to learn and get better.


Alex FFA 8th grade students competed at two FFA team creed contests this week. The contests were held in Hobart and Waurika. They placed first at the Best in the West contest in Hobart. Congratulations!




Alex 4H and FFA members completed at the Oklahoma State Fair livestock judging contest last week. The Senior 4H team placed fourth overall. Kolton Kohler was 2nd high individual and Kayla Venable was 5th high individual. The other team members were Jade Barrington and Ryder Drennan.


Alex TSA had a great day at OKC Riversports. One of our cardboard boats placed 4th in the races!
